Vehicle Information
Triumph Tiger 800 Motorcycle - Street (2011-2026)
The Triumph Tiger 800 series, spanning 2011 to 2026, encompasses two distinct motorcycle lines. The original Triumph Tiger 800 (2011-2019) was an adventure-focused dual-sport, available in road-oriented (XR) and off-road (XC) variants. It featured a 799cc inline three-cylinder engine, initially producing 94 hp. Over its production, it saw significant updates: a second generation (2015-2016) introduced ride-by-wire throttle, switchable ABS, and traction control, along with new XR/XC trims. A third generation (2018-2019) brought over 200 modifications, including internal engine changes for better power delivery, Brembo brakes, and advanced features like TFT dashboards on higher trims. This line was succeeded by the Tiger 900 in 2020. The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 (2025-2026) is a newer, separate model categorized as a sport-touring motorcycle. It features an all-new 798cc inline-triple engine delivering 113 hp, designed for linear power. Standard features include Triumph Shift Assist, cruise control, and cornering ABS. While distinct, both models fall under the broader Tiger 800 designation for this period. FAQ:
