Yamaha WR450F Dirt Bike (2003-2026)
The Yamaha WR450F, an iconic off-road and enduro motorcycle, was introduced in 2003 and has continued to evolve through 2026. Powered by a 449cc (often rounded to 450cc) liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine, it is renowned for its versatility and off-road performance. While generally offered as a single model without distinct trim levels, the WR450F has undergone several major redesigns over the years. Early versions, from 2003 to 2011, were carbureted. A significant change occurred in 2012 with the adoption of electronic fuel injection and a new aluminum frame based on the YZ450F, enhancing handling and power delivery. Other notable evolutions include the introduction of the "reversed" engine design in 2015 and substantial engine and chassis updates in 2019 and 2021, aimed at optimizing enduro performance and efficiency.
