Vehicle Information
Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 Side-by-Side (2020-2026)
The Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, available from 2020 to 2026, is a high-performance side-by-side known for its robust chassis and off-road capabilities. It is powered by a consistent 999cc, 4-stroke, DOHC, 8-valve parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine across all model years. While minor adjustments to reported horsepower and torque figures have occurred, the core engine platform has remained unchanged, ensuring reliable performance throughout its production run. Over its lifespan, the Teryx KRX 1000 has seen significant expansion in its trim offerings. Key developments include the introduction of the eS models around 2021, featuring Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) with FOX Live Valve technology for dynamic damping adjustments. The lineup also expanded to include four-seater (KRX4) configurations starting in 2023, providing options for group adventures. For 2026, standard models received updated SHOWA piggyback shock absorbers, and new specialized trims like the Rock Edition and Blackout Edition were introduced, further diversifying its appeal. These enhancements primarily focus on accessory packages, suspension systems, and seating configurations rather than fundamental mechanical overhauls. FAQ:
