It consistently featured a 925cc turbocharged engine, designed for exhilarating off-road experiences. Initially, the 2016 model delivered 144 horsepower. A significant upgrade occurred in 2017, boosting the engine's output to 168 horsepower, accompanied by enhanced cooling systems for improved durability. The 2018 model year saw the introduction of the wider, more robust RZR XP Turbo S, alongside the Dynamix Edition with active suspension. The 168 HP engine remained standard for both XP Turbo and XP Turbo S models until 2021, when Polaris integrated Pro XP clutches into these editions, further refining their performance.
