Description
The EBC Brakes CKF kit is a tough carbon fibre impregnated moto-x/ATV clutch which is longer lasting and grippier than standard cork based units (friction plates only).
Carbon fibre clutch plates are designed to handle the higher temperatures encountered in racing while being gentle enough for every day riding. Each kit is measured to the perfect stack height and should only be fitted as a whole kit. Soak clutch plates in the correct quantity of manufacturer's recommended drive case oil before installation.
Never use automatic transmission fluid. We strongly recommend that this clutch is fitted by a professionally trained mechanic. It is best to fit new clutch springs at the time of changing clutch plates due to heat fatigue of old springs. We sell a range of clutch spring sets. Before riding your motorcycle please ensure you are comfortable with the new lever force and can easily disengage the clutch with minimal hand pressure. Have an experienced rider test the machine.

- Tough clutch plates extend engine life
- Improve drive

Honda NX250 Motorcycle - Dual-Sport (1988-1990)
The Honda NX250, a versatile dual-sport motorcycle, was available in the United States from 1988 to 1990. It was powered by a consistent 249cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve engine (MD21E), featuring electric start and a six-speed transmission. This engine typically produced around 26 hp (19 kW) at 8,500 rpm, offering a balanced performance for both on-road and off-road adventures. Throughout its production run from 1988 to 1990, the Honda NX250 did not undergo any major generational or engine changes. The MD21E engine remained identical across all model years. Updates were limited to minor cosmetic revisions and feature additions. For instance, in 1989, a rear carrier became standard, and handlebars were chrome-plated. The model years were primarily distinguished by color schemes, such as Trad Blue Metallic and Pearl Crystal White in 1988, and Just Ross White with distinct fairing stripes in 1990. A related model, the Honda AX-1, was a modified version for other markets, featuring different components like alloy rims and a rear disc brake, but the US NX250 maintained its core design. FAQ:
Q: How do I know if this part fits my Honda NX250?
