Description
The EBC Brakes CKF kit is a tough carbon fibre impregnated moto-x/ATV clutch which is longer lasting and grippier than standard cork based units (friction plates only).
Carbon fibre clutch plates are designed to handle the higher temperatures encountered in racing while being gentle enough for every day riding. Each kit is measured to the perfect stack height and should only be fitted as a whole kit. Soak clutch plates in the correct quantity of manufacturer's recommended drive case oil before installation.
Never use automatic transmission fluid. We strongly recommend that this clutch is fitted by a professionally trained mechanic. It is best to fit new clutch springs at the time of changing clutch plates due to heat fatigue of old springs. We sell a range of clutch spring sets. Before riding your motorcycle please ensure you are comfortable with the new lever force and can easily disengage the clutch with minimal hand pressure. Have an experienced rider test the machine.
FEATURES
- Include carbon fiber impregnated friction plates
- Tough clutch plates extend engine life
- Improve drive
- Increase the heat threshold of the clutch
- Improve rider feel

Vehicle Information
Kawasaki KZ750 Motorcycle - Street (1976-1983)
The Kawasaki KZ750 series, produced from 1976 to 1983, represents a versatile range of motorcycles that underwent significant evolution. Initially launched with a parallel-twin engine, the series diversified in 1980 with the introduction of an inline-four engine, offering varied performance and style options. The primary generation break occurred in 1980 with the arrival of the 738cc inline-four engine, which coexisted with the established 745cc parallel-twin. This diversification allowed Kawasaki to offer models suited for different uses, ranging from standard versions to cruisers (LTD) and sport-oriented bikes (like the L3 or the shaft-driven Spectre). Specifications, trims, and drive systems (chain, shaft, or belt for some 1983 models) varied considerably during this period. FAQ:
Q: How can I ensure parts fit my Kawasaki KZ750?
A: Specifications vary greatly by year and model. Please use the year and model selector on this page to find parts compatible with your specific vehicle. Q: Were there major differences between KZ750 models during these years?

| Engine Oil and Oil Filter | 8 hours (initial), then every 100 hours | Change oil filter every 200 hours. These intervals are based on general Kawasaki engine maintenance guides. |
| Drive Belt | Some models, like the 1983 KZ750-K1 LTD, used a belt drive. Inspect condition and tension, replace according to manual specifications. | |
| Spark Plugs | Clean, gap, and replace as needed. Check their condition regularly. | |
| Air Filter | Clean or replace the filter element regularly to ensure optimal engine performance. | |
| Coolant | Applicable to liquid-cooled models (e.g., 1982 KZ750 Spectre). Many KZ750 models are air-cooled. Check level and replace as recommended in the manual for applicable models. |
