Description
The EBC Brakes CKF kit is a tough carbon fibre impregnated moto-x/ATV clutch which is longer lasting and grippier than standard cork based units (friction plates only).
Carbon fibre clutch plates are designed to handle the higher temperatures encountered in racing while being gentle enough for every day riding. Each kit is measured to the perfect stack height and should only be fitted as a whole kit. Soak clutch plates in the correct quantity of manufacturer's recommended drive case oil before installation.
Never use automatic transmission fluid. We strongly recommend that this clutch is fitted by a professionally trained mechanic. It is best to fit new clutch springs at the time of changing clutch plates due to heat fatigue of old springs. We sell a range of clutch spring sets. Before riding your motorcycle please ensure you are comfortable with the new lever force and can easily disengage the clutch with minimal hand pressure. Have an experienced rider test the machine.

- Include carbon fiber impregnated friction plates
- Tough clutch plates extend engine life
- Improve drive
- Increase the heat threshold of the clutch
- Improve rider feel

Vehicle Information
Suzuki SP 100 Motorcycle - Dual-Sport (1983)
The 1983 Suzuki SP100 was a versatile dual-purpose motorcycle, designed for both off-road adventures and street legality. Produced exclusively for the 1983 model year, it was powered by a reliable 99cc four-stroke, SOHC two-valve engine. This model was offered as a single "Base" trim, reflecting its straightforward and functional design. Sharing its core engine with the closely related DR100, the SP100 provided a robust and accessible option for riders seeking a capable small-displacement bike. As the Suzuki SP100 was manufactured solely in 1983, there were no mid-cycle generation or engine changes across multiple model years. The "Base" model was the only trim available for this specific year. Q: How can I ensure these parts fit my 1983 Suzuki SP100?
A: To guarantee compatibility, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil | Every 10 hours (recreational riding) or every 5 hours (aggressive riding). Generally, 1,600 to 3,200 km. | |
| Oil Filter | With every engine oil change (typically every 10 to 15 hours for off-road). | |
| Air Filter | Every 15 hours (recreational riding) or every 8 hours (aggressive riding). | Inspect, clean, or replace. Inspect frequently, especially in dusty conditions. Replace at least every season or if foam filter shows tears. For foam filters, clean and re-oil every 4,800 to 8,000 km and replace after 10 to 15 cleanings. |
| Spark Plug | Inspect every 30 hours. Generally replace every 8,000 to 16,000 km. | For older carbureted models, replacement intervals can be shorter. |
| Drive Chain | Clean and lubricate every 800 km. | Inspect for slack, alignment, and overall condition. More frequent maintenance is needed in high temperatures or for long, high-speed trips. |
