KTM 1190 RC8 Motorcycle - Street (2008-2016)
The KTM 1190 RC8 series, produced from 2008 to 2016, represents KTM's high-performance superbike offering. Initially launched as the standard 1190 RC8 (2008-2010) with an 1148 cc V-twin engine producing 155 hp, it was soon joined by the more track-focused 1190 RC8 R in 2009. The RC8 R featured a larger 1195 cc engine, initially delivering 170 hp. For the 2011 model year, the RC8 R received significant engine revisions, including a new crankshaft and dual-plug ignition, boosting its output to 175 hp. The standard RC8 was discontinued after 2010, with the RC8 R continuing as the sole model until 2016. These changes represent distinct evolutions in performance and engineering. FAQ:
