The Aprilia Tuono 1000, produced from 2002 to 2011, is a naked sportbike renowned for its performance and character. Powered by a 998cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, it offered a dynamic riding experience, combining the power of a sportbike with the comfort of a naked. It positioned itself as a distinctive option in the market, appreciated for its agility and expressive V-twin engine. During its production, the Tuono 1000 underwent a significant evolution in 2006. The first generation (2002-2005) was largely based on the RSV Mille, while the second generation (2006-2011), known as the Tuono 1000 R, introduced an updated "V60 Magnesium Evolution" engine, increased horsepower, and chassis refinements. In 2011, while the V-twin Tuono 1000 R model was still available, Aprilia introduced the Tuono V4 R in some markets, marking the arrival of a new generation with a V4 engine.
