The Honda Nighthawk 650, officially known as the CB650SC Nighthawk, was a popular standard motorcycle produced from 1982 to 1985. Designed for the American market, this model offered a blend of performance and reliability. Initially featuring an air/oil-cooled SOHC inline-four engine, it underwent a significant transformation during its production run, evolving to meet rider demands with enhanced technology and comfort. A major overhaul occurred in 1983. The 1982 model was powered by a 626cc SOHC engine with a 5-speed gearbox and chain final drive. From 1983 to 1985, the Nighthawk 650 received an all-new 656cc DOHC 16-valve engine, significantly boosting horsepower.
