Vehicle Information
Honda VTX1800 Motorcycle - Street (2002-2009)
The Honda VTX1800, produced from 2002 to 2009, is a cruiser motorcycle renowned for its powerful V-twin engine and diverse range of trims. All VTX1800 models from this period featured a 1795cc (52-degree) liquid-cooled V-twin engine, producing approximately 106 to 107 bhp and a robust 163 Nm of torque. This engine, equipped with Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and a shaft final drive, remained largely consistent throughout its production run. Instead of major engine overhauls, Honda focused on introducing various trims to offer distinct styles and functionalities. In 2002, the C (Classic), R (Retro), and S (Retro with wire-spoke wheels) models were launched. The VTX1800N (Neo-Retro) followed in 2004, then the VTX1800F (more performance-oriented) in 2005, and finally the VTX1800T (Tourer) in 2007, equipped with saddlebags and a windscreen. Minor cosmetic changes and updates to the linked braking system were implemented over the years, with 2009 models primarily receiving color changes. FAQ:
