Vehicle Information
KTM 690 Duke Motorcycle - Street (2008-2018)
The KTM 690 Duke, produced from 2008 to 2018, is a versatile naked motorcycle known for its powerful single-cylinder LC4 engine. Throughout its production, it offered standard and "R" trims, with the R model typically featuring enhanced performance and components. This period saw significant evolution. From 2008 to 2011, the Duke III generation featured a 654 cc LC4 engine. A major refresh in 2012 (Duke IV) increased the standard model's engine to a full 690 cc, matching the R version, and introduced dual ignition, ride-by-wire, and ABS, boosting power to 70 hp. Another substantial engine overhaul in 2016 further refined the LC4, increasing bore and decreasing stroke for higher revs, resulting in 73 hp for the standard Duke and 75 hp for the R model, alongside updated electronics and advanced ABS features. The 2017-2018 models largely continued these improvements. FAQ:
