Vehicle Information
Suzuki GT185 Adventurer Motorcycle - Street (1972-1977)
The Suzuki GT185 Adventurer, produced from 1973 to 1977, is a lightweight motorcycle powered by an air-cooled, 184cc two-stroke parallel twin engine. This engine, producing 21 horsepower at 7,500 rpm, featured Suzuki's Ram Air cooling system and was fed by two 20mm Mikuni carburetors. Lubrication was handled by Suzuki's Crank Case Injection (CCI) system. While the core engine remained largely unchanged, the model received functional and cosmetic updates over the years. The most notable modification occurred in 1974, with the replacement of the front drum brake by a single-disc brake, thus improving braking performance. Other changes primarily involved aesthetic adjustments, color options, and minor bodywork and ergonomic improvements. FAQ:
