Vehicle Information
Yamaha SR400 Motorcycle - Street (2015-2018)
The Yamaha SR400, sold from 2015 to 2018, is a classic-styled motorcycle renowned for its retro appeal and consistent design. Powered by a 399cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with electronic fuel injection, it delivers 23 horsepower and 27 Nm of torque. A unique feature is its kick-starter, the sole method for starting, complemented by a handlebar-mounted compression release. It uses a 5-speed transmission.
Throughout its 2015-2018 production run, the SR400 maintained largely consistent specifications. Yamaha offered a Base model each year, with a special 60th Anniversary edition in 2015 featuring distinctive yellow and black Speed Block graphics. This was primarily a cosmetic package, with no significant mechanical or generational changes occurring during these model years. The core design and engine characteristics remained faithful to its original inspiration, offering a consistent retro experience. Q: How do I ensure this part fits my Yamaha SR400?
A: To guarantee compatibility, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page.
