Description
FEATURES
- The steel used in the EBC rotor blades is a special stainless blend with higher friction effect than normal heat treated stainless steel found on stock discs
- Boasts up to 10% improvement in friction effect improving brakes even further
- Weight of the X and XC series is reduced by 5-10% by using a 6 only button drive system on a lightweight alloy center hub, which once again grabs the lead over stock parts
- The SD-System uses a square sided rivet with many advantages
- The SD-System of square sided buttons means that the rotor can expand inwards and outwards unrestrained and that perfect rotor functionality is retained at any speed or load
- This extends the lifetime of the rotor and prevents distortion failures
- Keeps the rotor blades perfectly true and flat throughout their life cycle and technically the only reason for a rotor to need replacement will be impact damage or over a very extended number of miles possible rotor wear limits being exceeded
- This means that a rotor equipped with the EBC Brakes SD-System could last 5-10 times as long as a conventional rotor built with circular buttons
- The drive forces under braking are transmitted over a line contact on the square side of the button compared to the point contact of a circular button
- Two (2) Sets of Rotors Required

Vehicle Information
Honda Interceptor 750 Motorcycle - Street (1984-1997)
The Honda Interceptor 750, initially known as the VF750F Interceptor and later as the VFR750F, is an iconic sportbike produced from 1984 to 1997. This model marked Honda's entry into the 750cc sportbike class and is renowned for its 748cc liquid-cooled, 16-valve V4 engine. It underwent several significant evolutions throughout its production, each bringing distinct improvements to its performance and design. The 1984-1997 period saw the Interceptor evolve through several distinct generations. The 1984-1985 VF750F models introduced the V4 but faced camshaft issues. In 1986, the VFR750F (RC24) was launched with a completely redesigned engine, gear-driven camshafts, and an aluminum frame, addressing reliability concerns. The RC36 generation (1990-1993) introduced a new frame, a Pro-Arm single-sided swingarm, and engine updates. Finally, the RC36-2 (1994-1997) refined the model with new NR750-inspired bodywork, a lighter frame, and engine and suspension enhancements, before the introduction of the VFR800Fi. Q: How can I ensure parts fit my Honda Interceptor 750?

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil | Annually | |
| Oil Filter | Annually | Replace at the same time as the engine oil. |
| Spark Plugs | Every 25,600 km or 51,200 km | Exact interval depends on specific model year and spark plug type. |
| Air Filter | Inspect regularly | Inspect, clean, adjust, lubricate, or replace if necessary. Some models require replacement if the filter is dirty, as viscous-type elements cannot be cleaned without degrading performance. |
| Coolant | Every 3 years | |
| Drive Chain | Every 1,200 to 1,600 km | Inspect, clean, and lubricate regularly. |
