Vehicle Information
Polaris Fusion 600 Snowmobile (2006)
The 2006 Polaris Fusion 600 HO was a performance-oriented snowmobile introduced that year. Powered by a 599cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke Liberty 600 HO engine, it delivered 120 horsepower in its carbureted version. A new 125-horsepower 600 HO CleanFire Injection (CFI) engine was also introduced, noted for being 43% cleaner. For 2006, the primary trims were the Fusion 600 HO and the Fusion 600 HO Dragon. Polaris began transitioning away from the "Fusion" nameplate to "IQ" models, which featured chassis improvements like a lowered jackshaft for enhanced belt life. Notably, a safety recall was issued in October 2005 for select 2006 models due to potential fuel tank filler neck cracks. FAQ:
