The GAS GAS EC 300, an iconic enduro motorcycle, has been a staple in off-road riding from 1999 to 2026. Throughout its production, this 300cc two-stroke machine has maintained its core identity while undergoing significant technological evolution. Initially featuring a robust steel Deltabox frame and carbureted engine, the EC 300 saw continuous refinements in its early years, including suspension and engine component updates. A major platform shift occurred in 2012 with the introduction of an entirely new chromoly frame, enhancing handling and performance. Further significant changes arrived in 2015, bringing a redesigned power valve and an updated electric start system. The most transformative updates came with the 2021 models, which marked a new era under KTM's manufacturing, introducing Electronic Fuel Injection (TPI), electric start, and oil injection, replacing the traditional carburetor.
