Description
For over a century, Gates has driven innovation in belt technology to power the machines that move you. Gates® G-Force C12 CVT belt drives are engineered to navigate the toughest off-road trails with power and efficiency. The industry's first CVT belt with carbon tensile cord also features a trapezoid top-notch and rounded cog design for superior flexibility and heat dissipation, along with a unique gum adhesion that reduces fiber pullout within the belt extending the life of the belt. Gates combines material science and process engineering to create innovative products that provide performance, reliability and the strength to withstand even the most challenging off-road environments. Continuous innovation isn't just what we do. It's who we are.
WHY G-FORCE C12 BELTS?
- STRENGTH: The first CVT belt utilizing carbon tensile cord for minimal stretch and extraordinary strength.
- FLEXIBILITY: High-performance neoprene with a trapezoidal topnotch and rounded bottom cog design maximizing heat control and flexibility.
- DURABILITY: Carbon tensile cords are bonded to aramid fiber-loaded rubber with specially formulated adhesion gum, resulting in increased side-load resistance, preventing belt distortion and edge cord pullout.
- PERFORMANCE: Gain optimal power transmission for faster acceleration, improved throttle response and consistent shifting performance.

Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Crossfire 600 Snowmobile (2006-2011)
The Arctic Cat Crossfire 600, produced from 2006 to 2011, was a popular hybrid snowmobile known for its versatility on and off the trail. Throughout its production, it consistently featured a reliable 599cc, liquid-cooled, two-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI), delivering approximately 118 horsepower. This engine, the Suzuki 600 EFI II, was built on the M-Series chassis. While the core engine remained constant, the Crossfire 600 saw several notable updates. In 2007, new Suzuki laydown EFI engines were introduced across the range, and push-button reverse became standard. A significant overhaul occurred in 2009, including a lighter rear suspension, an increased track length on some models (from 136 to 141 inches), new 8-inch rear axle wheels, and the Arctic Cat Engine Reverse (ACER) system. For 2011, the 600cc models received an upgrade to a coil-over Fox Zero Pro shock on the rear arm, enhancing ride quality. FAQ:
Q: How do I ensure I select the correct parts for my Arctic Cat Crossfire 600?
R: To guarantee a perfect fit, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page. This will filter parts specifically compatible with your snowmobile's exact configuration.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Oil Injection System (Engine Oil) | Daily | Check oil level, leaks, and damage. Use only high-quality TC-W3 or manufacturer-specific 2-stroke oil. This 2-stroke engine does not have a traditional engine oil filter to change. |
| Drive Belt | Check every 50 hours | Inspect for wear, cracks, or damage. Replace if necessary. Typical lifespan: 2,400 to 4,800 km. Break-in procedure for a new belt: 30 km at moderate speed. |
| Spark Plug | Check weekly, Replace annually (start of season) | Check center electrode insulator color, carbon, and gap. Typical gap: 0.7-0.8 mm. |
| Air Filter (Air Silencer) | Check pre-season | Inspect as part of the pre-season checkup. |
| Coolant | Check daily, Replace every 2 years | Check level, leaks, damage, and obstructions when the engine is cold. |
