The Lynx Shredder DS 850, spanning model years 2023 to 2026, is a deep snow mountain snowmobile renowned for its agility and power. Powered by the 849cc Rotax 850 E-TEC engine, it is available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged (180 hp Turbo R) options. The primary trims offered are the Shredder DS, focused on all-round deep snow versatility, and the Shredder RE, featuring more robust shock packages for aggressive riding. These models come with various track lengths, including 154-inch and 165-inch options. The Radien² platform was introduced in 2023, marking a significant overhaul. In 2024, the Shredder DS saw its LFS front suspension ski stance narrowed from 36 to 34 inches (863 mm) for enhanced agility, being exclusively offered with the Turbo R engine that year. The 2025 models largely carried over 2024 specifications.
