Designed for the most demanding, turbo-charged off-road CVT applications. With Gates proprietary materials and design, G-Force RedLine CVT belts handle extreme temperatures with excellent heat recovery, while maximizing load and torque capacity making it one of the most efficient CVT belts currently on the market.
Why G-Force RedLine CVT Belts?
- Greater heat resistance and recovery, even under severe duty cycles.
- Optimized, patented EE compound maximizes axial stiffness enabling belts to run at higher continuous torques or loads.
- Innovative design results in better acceleration, higher top speeds, less speed ratio and energy loss in extreme off-road environments.
- Improved durability, crack and wear-resistance means a longer-lasting, high-performance power transmission belt for the most demanding applications.
- Reduced environmental risk made without harmful chlorinated compounds.
Features
- First on the market to utilize Ethylene Elastomer compound to address the needs of larger SxS and high-horsepower ORVs in tough riding conditions.
- Next-generation EE compound offers maximum transverse stiffness and heat resistance, resulting in higher load capacity, higher peak torque capacity, less "heat fade" and less speed loss.
- Delivers 75% greater dynamic axial stiffness on average, up to 50% lower speed losses and better recovery from temperatures up to +170°C (+338°F) without power loss.
- Unmatched Temperature Capability - Runs cooler, resists glazing for better recovery and reduced cracking/chunking out after running at temps exceeding +149°C (+300°F).
- Extended Belt Life - Belt life increased 100-300% versus aftermarket competitive belts in severe duty lab test conditions and in field testing.
- Higher Power Capacity - Reduced speed (rpm) loss by 50% under high loads and increased load capacity by >10% compared to other aftermarket belt.

Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Sno Pro 500 Snowmobile (2010-2014)
The Arctic Cat Sno Pro 500, produced from 2010 to 2014, was a performance-oriented snowmobile designed for trail use, built on a race-bred chassis. Throughout these model years, it consistently featured a 499cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke twin engine, delivering approximately 85 horsepower, equipped with clean-burn electronic fuel injection (EFI). There were no distinct sub-trims offered; the primary variations were color options. While the core engine and chassis remained consistent, notable updates occurred. The 2010 model, upon its introduction, experienced an engine loading issue at idle, which Arctic Cat addressed with an ECU re-program. For 2011, significant changes were implemented: the 1.25-inch snocross track was replaced with a 1-inch Hacksaw track to increase top speed, the front sway bar was removed, and stiffer front springs were added to improve handling and reduce ski lift. An additional ECU reflash further refined engine performance. The 2012-2014 models were largely carryovers, maintaining the 1-inch track lug height and core specifications from 2011, with no major mid-cycle generation or engine changes. FAQ:
Q: Will parts for a 2010 Sno Pro 500 fit my 2013 model?
A: Compatibility can vary between model years due to updates. Please use our year/edition selector to ensure you find parts specifically designed for your snowmobile. Q: How do I know if a part fits my specific Sno Pro 500?
A: Always refer to the year and edition selector at the top of the page. This will filter products to show only those compatible with your exact model.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Oil (Injection System) | Check before every ride | Recommended type: Arctic Cat Synthetic APV 2-Cycle Oil. The first tank of fuel should be premixed at a 100:1 ratio during engine break-in. |
| Oil Filter | Not applicable | This 2-stroke model does not use a traditional engine oil filter. |
| Drive Belt | Inspect before every ride; replace if damaged or worn | Break-in of approximately 40 km at 3/4 throttle for a new belt. Typical lifespan: 2,400 to 4,800 km, but varies with use. Annual replacement recommended for casual riders. |
| Spark Plug | Replace annually | Recommended type: NGK BR9EYA, gap of 0.7-0.8 mm. Inspect and clean as needed. More frequent replacement may be necessary with heavy use. |
| Air Filter | Inspect before season | Check for obstructions in the air intake silencer. Keep clean for optimal airflow and to prevent engine wear. |
| Coolant | Check before season; replace every 2 to 5 years | Check level and hose condition. Annual replacement recommended for high-performance use. |
