The Ski-Doo MXZ 850 series, powered by the Rotax 850 E-TEC engine, has seen significant developments and a variety of trims from 2017 to 2026. These performance snowmobiles are known for their agility and power, featuring a naturally aspirated 850 E-TEC engine producing 165 horsepower. A more powerful variant, the 850 E-TEC Turbo R, was introduced, offering 180 horsepower.
The REV Gen4 platform was launched in 2017, bringing a narrower chassis and improved ergonomics. In 2023, the REV Gen5 platform was introduced for MXZ 850 E-TEC models, featuring a refined design, new LED headlights, and an engine cradle for reduced noise and vibration.
