Vehicle Information
Yamaha SR Viper BTX 1050 Snowmobile (2017)
The 2017 Yamaha SR Viper BTX 1050 is a high-performance snowmobile designed for riders seeking versatility in deep snow and on trails. Powered by a reliable 1049cc, 4-stroke, horizontal in-line, 3-cylinder Genesis engine with DOHC and fuel injection, it delivers approximately 130 horsepower. This model year saw the introduction of the B-TX series, positioning it as a capable crossover machine within the SR Viper lineup. While the core 1049cc engine remained consistent across the 2017 SR Viper models, the B-TX series itself was a significant new addition for this year. It was specifically engineered to offer a balance between deep snow capability and a more trail-friendly setup, distinguishing it from the more aggressive M-TX models. It's important to note that the new turbocharged 998cc engine introduced by Yamaha in 2017 was exclusively for the Sidewinder line and was not featured in the SR Viper BTX 1050. Q: How do I ensure this part fits my specific 2017 Yamaha SR Viper BTX 1050?
A: To guarantee compatibility, please use our year and model selector at the top of the page. This will filter parts specifically designed for your snowmobile.
