BMW R1200R Motorcycle - Street (2006-2020)
The BMW R1200R, an iconic roadster motorcycle, was produced from 2006 to 2018. It is renowned for its twin-cylinder boxer engine and agility, offering a versatile riding experience. This period saw two distinct generations. From 2006 to 2014, the R1200R featured an air/oil-cooled 1,170cc boxer engine, with a significant update in 2011 to a double overhead camshaft (DOHC) cylinder head. From 2015 until 2018, the model underwent a major redesign, adopting a new liquid/air-cooled 1,170cc boxer engine and a revised chassis, including inverted telescopic forks. The R1200R model was succeeded by the R1250R in 2019. FAQ:
