BMW R1150RT-P Motorcycle - Street (2001-2005)
The BMW R1150RT-P, produced from 2001 to 2005, is a robust police variant of the R1150RT touring motorcycle. Designed for reliability and performance, it is powered by an air/oil-cooled, 1,130 cc flat-twin "Boxer" engine. This engine produces 95 horsepower (70 kW) at 7,250 rpm and 98 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Standard R1150RT models came equipped with linked ABS, panniers, an electronically adjustable windscreen, and a center stand. The P version featured specific law enforcement equipment, including a single seat, two batteries for additional power, crash bars, and a radio top box. A significant update occurred in 2004 with the adoption of dual ignition (two spark plugs per cylinder).
