Vehicle Information
Polaris RZR S 800 Side-by-Side (2009-2014)
The Polaris RZR S 800, produced from 2009 to 2014, is a side-by-side vehicle renowned for its performance and handling. It featured a 760cc electronic fuel-injected twin-cylinder engine, generally producing 55 horsepower, though some sources indicate 53 HP for the 2011 model. The RZR S 800 distinguished itself from the standard RZR 800 with its wider 60.5-inch stance, long-travel suspension with Fox Podium shocks offering 12.5 inches of ground clearance and 12 inches of wheel travel, and an upgraded H.O. (High Output) engine. Over the years, the RZR S 800 saw notable enhancements. In 2011, Polaris dropped the "Ranger" designation, making RZR a standalone series, and introduced a Bosch EFI system for improved efficiency and throttle response. Sachs 2.0 shocks were also added. By 2014, Electronic Power Steering (EPS) became an available option on some trims, offering enhanced driving comfort. FAQ:
