Vehicle Information
Honda Silver Wing 600 Scooter (2002-2013)
The Honda Silver Wing 600, known by various model codes like FSC600, was a prominent maxi-scooter produced from 2002 to 2013. It was powered by a robust 582cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with DOHC and Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI), delivering consistent performance throughout its production run. This engine design, featuring two primary balancer shafts, remained fundamentally unchanged across all model years, ensuring reliability and smooth operation. While the core engine and platform stayed consistent from 2002 to 2013, Honda introduced several updates and trim variations. The primary configurations included a Standard Model (FSC600) and an ABS Model (FSC600A), offering enhanced braking capabilities. Cosmetic enhancements were applied in 2008, such as new emblems and gold accents on wheels and calipers. For European markets, the SW-T600 (sometimes called 600GT) received new aerodynamics and instrumentation around 2010. These were feature and styling updates, not a new generation or engine platform.
