Vehicle Information
Honda CB900F 919 Motorcycle - Street (2002-2007)
The Honda CB900F, known as the "919" in North America and "Hornet 900" in Europe, was a naked motorcycle produced from 2002 to 2007. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 919 cc DOHC in-line four-cylinder engine. This powerplant, a de-tuned version of the CBR900RR engine, was optimized to deliver enhanced mid-range torque and smoother power delivery. The 919 was positioned as a versatile motorcycle, valued for its reliability and balanced performance. Throughout its production run, the CB900F 919 was offered as a single model without distinct trim levels. The core engine remained largely consistent. However, the 2004 model year introduced notable updates, including an upgrade from a non-adjustable front fork to a fully adjustable 43mm unit. The instrument cluster also received an update, incorporating a digital clock. The 2005 and 2006 model years primarily featured paint color changes. Production of the 919 ceased in 2007, with the model being replaced by the CB1000R in 2008. FAQ:
