Vehicle Information
Honda PC800 Pacific Coast Motorcycle - Street (1989-1998)
The Honda PC800 Pacific Coast, produced from 1989 to 1998, was a distinctive touring motorcycle known for its full bodywork and integrated trunk. It featured a liquid-cooled, 798 cc V-twin engine with SOHC, three valves, and two spark plugs per cylinder, derived from the Honda 750 Shadow. This engine delivered between 46 and 57 hp and 65 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, notably equipped with hydraulic valve clearance compensators, eliminating routine valve adjustments. The PC800 was generally offered as a single model without traditional trim levels. Its production was split into two main periods: 1989-1990 and 1994-1998, with a hiatus for the U.S. market. While the core engine remained consistent, minor cosmetic changes occurred in 1997, replacing the front wheel cowling with a more conventional fender. Early models (1989-1990) included an AM/FM radio, and auto turn-off turn signals were present until 1997. FAQ:
