K&N powersports chrome canister oil filters contain a modern synthetic filter media, designed for ultimate flow with less pressure drop, yet engineered for outstanding filtration. K&N powersports 'spin-on' oil filters feature a heavy-duty, chrome-plated metal can. Most of these have a 17 mm nut affixed onto the end that allows for easy removal. The 17 mm nut is crossed-drilled so racers can safety wire the filter to their bike.

The Kawasaki Mule, a line of robust utility vehicles, underwent significant developments between 1990 and 1992. The Mule 2020 model, available from 1990 to 1991, was specifically designed for delicate terrains, earning it the nickname "turf Mule". It was powered by a fan-cooled single-cylinder engine and featured a dual-mode differential, perfect for minimizing ground impact. The 1990-1992 period saw the introduction of several Mule variants. In 1990, the Mule 2010 (535cc) offered selectable 2WD/4WD, while the Mule 2030 targeted industrial uses. The Mule 500 (286cc) completed the compact offering. A major change occurred in 1992 with the launch of the Mule 2500 series (2510 and 2520), which introduced a new, more powerful liquid-cooled 617cc V-twin engine.
