Vehicle Information
Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Motorcycle - Street (1995-2006)
The Kawasaki Vulcan 800, produced from 1995 to 2006, is a classic cruiser motorcycle renowned for its V-twin engine and timeless aesthetics. All models in this range featured an 805 cc liquid-cooled, four-valve per cylinder V-twin engine, paired with a single Keihin 36mm carburetor and a five-speed transmission, utilizing a chain final drive. Horsepower figures varied slightly across sources, generally reported between 52 hp and 58 hp, with maximum torque around 64 Nm at 3300 rpm. Throughout its production from 1995 to 2006, the Kawasaki Vulcan 800 did not undergo any major mid-cycle generation or significant engine changes. The core engine specifications and platform remained consistent. The primary differences were cosmetic and styling variations that defined its three main trims: the original Vulcan 800 (VN800A, 1995-2005) with its "softail" design and 21-inch front wheel; the Vulcan 800 Classic (VN800B, 1996-2006) featuring a retro style with full fenders and 16-inch wheels; and the Vulcan 800 Drifter (VN800C/E, 1999-2006), inspired by vintage Indian motorcycles, distinguished by its large, valanced fenders and slight variations in engine cover finishes between the C and E versions.
