Vehicle Information
Kawasaki W650 Motorcycle - Street (2000-2002)
The Kawasaki W650, available from 2000 to 2002, is a classic retro-styled motorcycle known for its timeless design and reliable performance. It features a 676 cc air-cooled, four-stroke, parallel-twin engine with SOHC and 4 valves per cylinder, delivering approximately 45-50 horsepower. This model was imported to the United States and Canada specifically for the 2000 and 2001 model years. Throughout the 2000-2002 period, the W650 was offered as a single, well-equipped model without distinct trim levels. Standard features included two-tone paint, chrome accents, rubber fork gaiters, and tank kneepads, emphasizing its vintage aesthetic. While the core engine design and displacement remained consistent, a minor chassis adjustment was implemented from 2001 onwards, with the suspension being stiffened to enhance handling.
