Vehicle Information
Suzuki Boulevard C109R Motorcycle - Street (2008-2009)
The Suzuki Boulevard C109R, available from 2008 to 2009, is a classic cruiser motorcycle known for its powerful performance and distinctive styling. Positioned as a more traditional counterpart to the sportier M109R, it shares much of its advanced engineering. This model features a liquid-cooled, 54-degree V-twin DOHC engine with a displacement of 1783cc, delivering approximately 114 horsepower at 5,800 rpm. Its design incorporates milder intake timing and increased crankshaft inertia compared to the M109R, providing a smoother, more cruiser-oriented power delivery. Throughout its 2008 and 2009 model years, the Suzuki Boulevard C109R maintained consistent specifications. No significant mid-cycle generation or engine changes were reported during this period. The 2009 model largely carried over the same specifications as its 2008 predecessor, including the 1783cc engine with the Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system. Two main trims were offered: the standard C109R and the touring-focused C109RT, which included specific color schemes. In Europe, this model was known as the Suzuki Intruder C1800R or VLR1800. FAQ:
