Yamaha FZ6 R Motorcycle - Street (2009-2017)
The Yamaha FZ6R, produced from 2009 to 2017, was a middleweight sport-touring motorcycle designed to be beginner-friendly. It featured a 599cc liquid-cooled, inline-four, DOHC engine, derived from the YZF-R6S but detuned for more accessible street performance with a focus on low- and midrange torque. The FZ6R remained largely consistent throughout its 2009-2017 production run. There were no significant mid-cycle generation or engine changes. Variations were primarily cosmetic, offered through different color schemes and graphics packages, such as Pearl White, Team Yamaha Blue and White, Cadmium Yellow, and Raven. FAQ:
