K&N powersports chrome canister oil filters contain a modern synthetic filter media, designed for ultimate flow with less pressure drop, yet engineered for outstanding filtration. K&N powersports 'spin-on' oil filters feature a heavy-duty, chrome-plated metal can. Most of these have a 17 mm nut affixed onto the end that allows for easy removal. The 17 mm nut is crossed-drilled so racers can safety wire the filter to their bike.

The Yamaha Attak 1000 snowmobile, available for the 2006 and 2007 model years, is known for its trail performance. Powered by a 998cc, four-stroke Genesis 150 FI engine producing 150 horsepower, it featured a 136-inch track. While the engine remained consistent for both years, the 2007 model year introduced the Attak GT trim. This GT version featured premium Ohlins shocks, including an electronic control feature for rear suspension adjustment, and a redesigned snowflap. The standard Attak (Base model) for 2007 remained largely unchanged from the previous year. Also, the folding key design was phased out for 2007 models due to bending issues, and an update kit for hand warmers was released in the fall of 2006.
