Vehicle Information
Honda Pioneer 1000-6 Side-by-Side (2023-2026)
The Honda Pioneer 1000-6 (2023-2026) is a robust six-seat utility side-by-side, designed for both work and recreation. It is powered by a consistent 999cc liquid-cooled Unicam® parallel-twin four-stroke engine, delivering impressive horsepower and torque, with 76 HP noted for the 2026 Deluxe Crew. This engine platform remained largely consistent from its 2023 introduction through 2025. The most significant evolution for the Pioneer 1000-6 occurred in the 2026 model year. While the engine displacement stayed the same, Honda implemented a comprehensive redesign. Key updates include a new throttle-by-wire system enabling smoother shifting, precise throttle response, cruise control, and a variable speed limiter. The 2026 models also feature updated styling, enhanced cabin comfort with improved sealing, increased chassis strength, and new drive modes (Normal, Comfort, Sport, Tow/Haul). Notably, 2026 also saw the introduction of the Pioneer 1000 Elite, Honda's first side-by-side with a factory-installed fully enclosed cab. Prior to 2026, the 1000-6 was primarily offered as the Deluxe Crew trim. FAQ:
