Vehicle Information
KTM 200 SX Dirt Bike (1998-2004)
The KTM 200 SX (1998-2004) was a 200cc two-stroke off-road motorcycle specifically designed for motocross racing. It was part of KTM's 200cc lineup, which also included the 200 EXC (Enduro) and 200 MXC (Cross Country) models. All 200 SX models during this period featured a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, two-stroke engine with a displacement of 193 ccm. While the 193 ccm engine remained consistent, the 200 SX underwent significant developments. In 2000, all two-stroke models received new lightweight hubs and a larger front axle for increased rigidity. A major shift occurred in 2003 with the introduction of a dedicated motocross-oriented SX chassis, new WP 4860 MXMA OC forks, new bodywork, and a one-piece rear fender. This was also the final year for the Mikuni TMX carburetor. Further refinements came in 2004, including updated suspension calibration, a new tank, seat, airbox, a strengthened swingarm pivot, and a switch to a Keihin PWK 39 carburetor. Q: How can I ensure parts fit my KTM 200 SX?
