These motorcycles are powered by an 889cc liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-twin engine, offering a blend of power and agility. The year 2020 saw the introduction of the 890 Duke R, marking a significant transition from the 790 Duke with a larger displacement engine and performance-oriented components. In 2021, the standard 890 Duke model was launched, sharing the same 889cc engine but with slightly different tuning. The lineup expanded in 2022 with the arrival of the 890 Duke GP, primarily an aesthetic variant.
