Vehicle Information
Suzuki V-Strom 1050 Motorcycle - Street (2020-2026)
The Suzuki V-Strom 1050, an acclaimed adventure-touring motorcycle, has been a consistent performer from 2020 to 2026. Powered by a robust 1,037cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, 90-degree V-twin engine, it delivers approximately 106-107 hp and 100-101 Nm of torque. While the model name changed from 1000 to 1050 in 2020, the engine displacement remained the same, with power enhancements achieved through new camshaft profiles and other adjustments to meet Euro5 emission standards. This period also saw the introduction of ride-by-wire, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, and an updated traction control system. A significant evolution occurred in 2023 with the introduction of the V-Strom 1050DE and 1050DE Adventure models, replacing the previous XT trims. These DE versions are designed for enhanced off-road capability, featuring a 21-inch front wheel, increased suspension travel, higher ground clearance, and specific electronic aids like a Gravel mode for traction control and switchable rear ABS. The standard V-Strom 1050 continued with road-biased features. This update also standardized a bi-directional quickshifter across the 1050 range and introduced a 5-inch color TFT display. Q: Are there different versions of the V-Strom 1050 for specific years?
A: Yes, the V-Strom 1050 range saw trim changes and significant updates, particularly in 2023. Please use our year and edition selector to find parts specific to your motorcycle.

| Spark Plugs | Replacement every 24 000 km | Spark plugs are generally inspected at every service interval. |
| Air Filter | As needed or more frequently | The air cleaner element should be serviced at specified intervals, or more frequently if the motorcycle is ridden in dusty or wet conditions. |
| Coolant | Replacement every 4 years or 48 000 km | Use Suzuki Super Long Life Coolant or an equivalent long-life coolant. |
