Vehicle Information
Triumph Trophy 900 Motorcycle - Street (1995-2002)
The Triumph Trophy 900, produced from 1995 to 2002, was a renowned touring motorcycle celebrated for its comfortable ergonomics and robust 885 cc liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine. This powerplant consistently delivered 98 horsepower (71.5 kW) and 83 Nm of torque throughout its production run, establishing the Trophy 900 as a reliable long-distance companion. It was offered as a single model, focusing on continuous improvements rather than distinct trim levels. During its lifespan, the Trophy 900 received notable updates. In 1995, it gained a completely new, larger fairing designed by John Mockett, enhancing wind protection and stability. This update also included standard panniers, a new exhaust system, updated 310mm front brakes, and a 17-inch rear wheel. A further refinement in 1996 brought a more aerodynamic fairing, dual round headlights, and a larger windscreen, with the instrument cluster integrated into the fairing. Despite these significant chassis and bodywork revisions, the core 885cc engine specifications remained largely unchanged. FAQ:
