Vehicle Information
Yamaha Breeze 125 ATV (1989-2004)
The Yamaha Breeze 125 is a youth utility all-terrain vehicle (ATV) produced from 1989 to 2004. Designed for reliability and ease of use, it was consistently powered by a 124cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine with a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) and a carburetor. This engine delivered approximately 6.6 to 8 horsepower and was paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) offering forward, neutral, and reverse gears, driving the rear wheels via a 2x4 chain drive system.
Throughout its production, the Breeze 125 maintained a consistent mechanical design. There were no distinct mechanical trim levels or significant mid-cycle engine changes. Differences between model years were primarily cosmetic, involving updates to colors and graphics. The core engine and transmission platform remained largely unchanged, contributing to its reputation for dependability. The model was eventually succeeded by the Grizzly 125, which shared many mechanical similarities. Q: Is this product compatible with my Yamaha Breeze 125?
A: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |

| Oil Filter | Refer to owner's manual | Specific intervals were not explicitly found. For other Yamaha engines, an oil filter change is often part of a 100-hour or annual service. |
| Spark Plug | Refer to owner's manual | Type: NGK CR7HS. Gap: 0.6 to 0.7 mm. For some Yamaha vehicles, inspection is recommended every 100 hours or every other season. |
