Yamaha Kodiak 700 ATV (2016-2026)
The Yamaha Kodiak 700, produced from 2016 to 2026, is a robust and versatile utility ATV, renowned for its reliability and performance. It is designed for both work and trail riding, offering a comfortable and efficient driving experience. Initially, from 2016 to approximately 2018, the Kodiak 700 was equipped with a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 708cc, 4-stroke engine featuring Yamaha Fuel Injection (YFI). This engine provided increased power and torque over previous models. However, between 2019 and 2020, Yamaha transitioned to a liquid-cooled, SOHC, 686cc, 4-stroke engine. This 686cc engine, used from 2020 through the projected 2026 models, is optimized for high low-end torque, smooth and quiet operation, and impressive midrange power. The Kodiak 700 has been offered in several trims, including the base model, the Kodiak 700 EPS with electric power steering, the Kodiak 700 EPS SE (Special Edition) with premium features, and more recently the Kodiak 700 EPS XT-R.
