The Ducati 848 EVO, produced from 2011 to 2013, is a high-performance sportbike known for its potent L-twin engine and agile handling. This model range was powered by an 849.4 cc liquid-cooled, L-Twin, Desmodromic engine, consistently delivering 140 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque across all years. The "EVO" designation itself, introduced in 2011, marked a significant mid-cycle upgrade for the 848 platform. This included an engine boost to 140 hp through revised cylinder heads, cams, pistons, and larger 60mm throttle bodies, alongside an increased compression ratio. Chassis and braking also saw enhancements with top-shelf Brembo Monobloc calipers and a standard steering damper. Throughout its production, the 848 EVO was available in a standard trim. The 848 EVO Dark, featuring a matte black finish, was offered in 2011 and 2013. From 2012 to 2013, the premium 848 EVO Corse Special Edition (SE) was introduced, adding a distinctive livery, a lightweight aluminum fuel tank, Öhlins rear suspension, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), and larger 330mm front brake discs.
