Vehicle Information
Polaris Ranger 150 Side-by-Side (2018-2026)
The Polaris Ranger 150 EFI, designed for youth riders, is a side-by-side utility vehicle (UTV) that has maintained a consistent platform and a 150cc Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) engine from 2018 to 2026. Positioned as a safe introductory vehicle, it features an air/oil-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine. While horsepower is not officially specified by Polaris, estimates suggest around 9-13 horsepower. The top speed is electronically limited to 26 km/h from the factory but can be adjusted by an adult supervisor up to 47 km/h. Despite the consistency of the engine and core platform, Polaris introduced significant safety and technology updates. Upon its 2018 introduction, the Ranger 150 EFI included features like geofencing, digital speed limiting, and a passcode-protected safe-start system, all manageable via the RIDE COMMAND app. A seatbelt interlocking system also limited speed to 10 km/h until the seatbelt was engaged. From 2022 onwards, Helmet Aware Technology was added, requiring helmets to be worn for the vehicle to start, with further safety enhancements in 2023. Trim levels primarily varied by color options over the years. FAQ:
