Vehicle Information
Honda ATC70 ATV (1973-1985)
The Honda ATC70, produced from 1973 to 1985, was a popular three-wheeled all-terrain vehicle, especially among younger riders. It maintained a largely consistent mechanical configuration throughout its production run, powered by a 72cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The ATC70 experienced a significant production break and a generational shift. The first generation was produced from 1973 to 1974, followed by a hiatus. The model was reintroduced in 1978 for the second generation, which continued until 1985. Key changes included a transmission upgrade, moving from a 3-speed semi-automatic (1978-1982) to a 4-speed semi-automatic in 1983. The carburetor also evolved, from a Keihin PB38A (up to 1983) to a PC38A for 1984-1985 models. There were no distinct "trims," but rather cosmetic updates and minor refinements over the years. FAQ:

| Air Filter | Inspect every 10 to 15 operating hours. Clean regularly. | Clean more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace if worn or damaged. |
| Drive Chain | Regularly | Inspect, clean, and lubricate. |
| Coolant | Not applicable | Air-cooled engine, does not use liquid coolant. |
| Drive Belt | Not applicable | Uses a chain drive system, no belt. |
