Vehicle Information
Polaris Outlaw 450 ATV (2008-2010)
The Polaris Outlaw 450 MXR, produced from 2008 to 2010, was engineered as a high-performance sport ATV for racing and aggressive off-road riding. Throughout its production, it consistently featured a single primary trim level, the MXR. Powering this quad was a robust 448cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, supplied by KTM, which typically produced around 40 horsepower. This engine utilized a 39mm Keihin FCR carburetor for optimal fuel delivery. While the core KTM 448cc engine remained consistent, the Outlaw 450 MXR received a significant overhaul in 2009. This update introduced new bodywork, revised ergonomics, and a wider stance, along with weight-saving measures like aluminum heel guards. The complex PRO Steering system was replaced with a more conventional setup, and the rear shock action was improved. The 2010 model largely carried over these enhancements from 2009. FAQ:
