Vehicle Information
Suzuki Quadrunner 300 ATV (1987-1989)
The Suzuki Quadrunner 300, model LT300E, was a popular 2-wheel drive utility ATV produced from 1987 to 1989. Throughout these years, it consistently featured a robust 293cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine. While the "300" in its name suggests a 300cc displacement, the precise engine size was 293cc. Although offered as a single primary model (LT300E), there were notable differences across the production years. The 1987 model had several unique features, including specific rear U-joint axles with a different spline count, distinct front and rear racks, square axle nuts, and silver-painted A-arms. Crucially, from 1988 onwards, the Quadrunner 300 transitioned to using CV (constant velocity) joints for both inner and outer axles, replacing the 1987's unique 20-spline axle joints. The Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) units also varied between the 1987-1989 models and later versions. The carburetor remained a Mikuni VM24SS (24mm) slide type for this entire period. FAQ:
