Vehicle Information
KTM 530 XCR-W Dirt Bike (2008)
The 2008 KTM 530 XCR-W is an off-road motorcycle that marked a significant generational overhaul for KTM's dirt bikes. This model year introduced an entirely new platform, featuring a redesigned 510.4 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke XC4 engine. This engine, equipped with SOHC and four valves, utilized a Keihin MX FCR 3900J carburetor, offered both electric and kick start, and was paired with a six-speed transmission. A key innovation was the separation of engine and transmission oil systems, enhancing reliability and reducing operating temperatures. The 2008 redesign also brought a new chromoly steel frame with oversized lateral tubes, an aluminum subframe, and a new cast swingarm. The WP suspension components were updated, including redesigned 48mm open cartridge forks and a WP PDS shock with high and low-speed adjusters. New plastic bodywork and a larger 9.2-liter fuel tank completed the overhaul, aiming for improved comfort, progressive damping, and a broader powerband. Other related models from this new generation included the 530 EXC-R and 530 XC-W(R). Q: Will this part fit my 2008 KTM 530 XCR-W?
