Vehicle Information
Polaris Ranger 425 Side-by-Side (2001-2004)
The Polaris Ranger 425, available from 2001 to 2004, is a robust utility vehicle known for its consistent performance and versatility. Throughout these model years, it was powered by a reliable 425cc Fuji 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine, delivering approximately 27 horsepower. Power was efficiently managed by a Dual Sensing Automatic PVT (Polaris Variable Transmission), ensuring smooth operation across various terrains. During this specific production period, the Ranger 425 maintained its core specifications without significant mid-cycle generation or engine changes. This means that the fundamental engine and platform design remained consistent from 2001 through 2004. The model was offered in several practical configurations, including the standard 2x4, a capable 4x4 variant, and a robust 6x6 option, providing solutions for diverse utility and off-road demands. While the broader Polaris Ranger lineup saw platform evolutions around 2005, the 425cc model within the 2001-2004 range offers a stable and predictable platform for parts and accessories. FAQ:
