People just need to fill the battery with acid, install it on the motorcycle and then forget it (regular charging is still necessary).

The Yamaha TDM850, available in North America for the 1992 and 1993 model years, was positioned as a "New Sports" machine. This unique motorcycle blended characteristics of standard bikes with mild dirt-road capabilities, though it was primarily designed for road use. It featured a liquid-cooled, transverse 849cc parallel twin engine with DOHC and 5 valves per cylinder, derived from the XTZ750 Super Ténéré. This engine utilized a 360-degree crankshaft, delivering approximately 77-78 hp. During its two-year run, the TDM850 was offered as a single model without distinct trims. There were no significant generation or engine changes between the 1992 and 1993 model years.
