Vehicle Information
Suzuki Vinson 500 ATV (2002-2007)
The Suzuki Vinson 500, produced from 2002 to 2007, was a robust utility ATV known for its versatility and performance. Equipped with a 493cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke SOHC engine, it offered strong torque for various tasks. Throughout its production, the Vinson 500 was available with two primary transmission configurations: the fully automatic CVT (LT-A500F) and, from 2003 onwards, a 5-speed manual with an automatic clutch (LT-F500F). Both versions featured selectable 2WD/4WD. A significant update occurred in the 2003 model year. The carburetor was upgraded from a Mikuni 34mm to a Keihin CVK36, and the fuel tank capacity increased from 12.5 liters to 19 liters. The engine's compression ratio was also raised from 8.5:1 to 10.2:1. Crucially, the rear braking system was improved from drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes. Due to these changes, certain components like the fuel system, carburetor, and rear brake parts from the 2002 model are not interchangeable with those from 2003-2007 models. FAQ:
